Fun fact: the exportable memory extension works very different on windows and everything else. Or technically they’re two different extensions that do the same thing but not in the same way. R81 fixes most issues and Vulkan API misunderstandings from R80 which gives actually working exportable memory and much faster GPU uploads. Upgrade now.
Other fun Vulkan API facts: In Windows you can only export the same memory once or you get weird behavior. On *nix you can export it unlimited times. Also the same exported memory counts twice towards a process VRAM usage when imported in Windows. These details nobody will tell you and hopefully you’ll never need to know them.
